"I felt a little misled shopping..."
I felt a little misled shopping on russellstover.com this time. I went in expecting to find a decent mix of sugar-free boxes and some seasonal treats, but so much of what I wanted was either gone, missing, or already out of stock.
The site makes it seem like there’s more variety than there actually is, but once you start clicking around, it’s mostly the same basic stuff over and over. Disappointing, and not really worth placing an order if the selection is that limited.

"My order showed up on time..."
My order showed up on time, which was great, and the chocolates themselves tasted good. But this is where it got annoying, the shipping box looked beat up, and one of the candy boxes inside had a bent corner. Nothing was completely ruined, but it definitely wouldn’t have looked nice if I was giving it as a gift. Overall, the candy was fine, but the packaging could’ve been better.

"Solid candy without the rip-off prices"
I grabbed a few boxes from Russell Stover the prices were decent, especially compared to some stores near me charging ridiculous money like absolute clowns. Shipping wasn’t crazy fast or anything, but it got here fine, so no big deal. The candy tasted fresh and worked great as a gift. For the price, I’d definitely order again.

Everything showed up just like I picked it, so yeah, no complaints. Solid tbh.

Well... the box looked nice, just not anything super special. It still did the job though and worked fine as a quick little gift for my aunt.

"Site was frustrating, and I felt uneasy after paying"
The website was annoying to use. Pages took a while to load, and the checkout process wasn’t very clear, so I kept second-guessing if I was doing it right. After I paid, I felt a bit distrustful because there wasn’t much reassurance or clear info right away, which made the whole experience feel kind of sketchy

I wanted to like it, but... the taste just didn’t work for me. It was way too sweet, and there was this weird aftertaste that I couldn’t get past

"Good candy, slow customer service"
I do like the candy, so that part kind of sticks in my mind more than the annoying bits. But I had an issue with my order and emailed customer service, and from what I remember, it took several days to hear anything back.
When they finally responded, it felt like they skimmed my message or missed the main point. I had to follow up again before I got a clear answer. It did get fixed eventually, so I’m not calling it a disaster, but for something simple, it felt way slower than it needed to be.

"Shipping took way longer than expected"
I ordered from russellstover.com assuming it would get here in time, but the shipping ended up being really slow. The tracking barely changed for days and just kept showing the same update, which made it feel like the package was just sitting somewhere. Then the delivery date got pushed back, and by the time it finally arrived, it was too late for what I needed it for. Maybe I expected too much based on the checkout info, but I probably wouldn’t order online again if I needed it by a specific day.

"A few pieces didn’t taste very fresh"
The order arrived fine and nothing was really wrong with the packaging, but some of the chocolate tasted a little old to me. A few pieces were kind of dry, which was disappointing because I was expecting it to feel more fresh and worth the money. It was still edible and decent overall, but I wouldn’t want to spend that much again if there’s a chance it shows up tasting like that.
